During 2004-05 the Border Area Development Fund (BADF) against Pungro Block of 60 A/C has accorded the sanction of Rs. 62 Lakhs whereas as per schemes Rs. 35 Lakhs has been sanction. In addition to above Rs. 20 Lakhs has been sanctioned.
Therefore out of total sanctioned of Rs. 1.17 Crore I have prepare only few questions of the following to ask your authority to clarify how an amount against the following schemes has been made payment and to whom the payment has been released without any work.
Failing to clarify will definitely develope, “for interesting issue of free corrup¬tion in 60 AlC Pungro - Kiphire in last 3 years”. If need arises I am willing and prepared to take the Department into the appropriate court for clarification of truth in general public interest.
Therefore few questions here asked may be publicly publish as facts by keeping correct answer. So that the Department created for noble cause of the backward people will not be tracked into the Court of Law.
(1) Construction of transit Hostel at kiphire H.Q. Rs. 20 lakhs (Rupees twenty lakhs) 2004- 2005.
(2) Widening of Approach Road to Pungren village Rs. 7 lakhs (Rupees Seven lakhs) during 2004- 2005.
(3) Widening of Approach Road to Tuthezu village Rs. 5 lakhs (Rupees Five lakhs only)
(4) Construction of Approach Road to Takivong village Rs. 7 Lakhs (Rupees Seven Lakhs only)
(5) Construction of Approach Road From Mimi village to Khongka village Rs. 3 lakhs (Rupees three lakhs only)
(6) Construction of Approach Road to Govt. Middle School Salumi village Rs. 5 lakhs.
(a) Against the above schemes the name of the contractor should be published.
(b) Name of the person who received the amount on behalf of the contractors to be published.
(c) That clarification be made to general public, why the work has not been done and how payment has been release? Under what circumstances?
(d) If payment has not been released, clarify the reason, why?
(e) Why authorities has failed to instruct the contractor to complete the work within the stipulated period as per schemes and work- orders
(t) Your authority should explain publicly why the work orders have not been issued to the concern contractor and beneficiaries?
This is the first issue raised to you in public interest and I hope you will honourably accept. If need arises 2nd phase question is under preparation. Whereas in the 3rd phase department shall have to answer not to me but to the court of the Law and for which every one of you may as well be prepared.
Please remember random misappropriation of public fund and free corruption will no more be allowed. Also department like DUDA funding political party and candidates are serious crime against the will of the people.
Your prompt action in public interest will be highly appreciated.
