The Angami Gazetted Officers Krotho (AGOK) today held its 39th session at Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma with Nagaland’s Urban Development & Municipal Affairs advisor Dr Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire as the guest speaker.
In his address, Dr Nicky stressed on the need to have a frequent interaction amongst the Gazetted officers on various matters for well being of the society.
He also sought the involvement of AGOK towards the concept of “village/ward adoption” initiated by Kohima District Planning & Development Board (DPDB). “Let us give back to the society,” he said.
He also stressed on the need to live up to AGOK motto “U Themia Dzevi” and at the same time called upon the officers to reason together and work for common cause.
Sekrenyi fest in Kisama on Feb 25
Angami Public Organization (APO) president Razouvotuo Khroitsu shared greetings. He said that Angami gazetted officers are the pride of the Angamis and urged upon them to live upto the standard of “Be concern and helpful” to the society. He appreciated AGOK for coming up with a multi utility centre -AGOK Badze at Meriema and assured utmost support towards the early completion of the project.
Khroitsu also informed that the APO in association with other frontal organizations will be celebrating Sekrenyi at Kisama on February 25. Nagaland’s chief minister Neiphiu Rio will grace the occasion as the special guest.
AGOK new team
Search committee convenor Dr Zasekolie Chiisi announced the new team of AGOK for the tenure 2022- 2024.
The new team will be led by Dr Neilasa Sopfu as president. Vice President: Er Nirie-e Nisa, General Secretary: Nongotso Rikha, Joint Secretaries: Kevizhalhou Kuotsu, Atei-ii Sekhose, Ketusielie Kuotsu and Viwheto Thorie, Finance Secretary: Ketouzo Peseyie, Legal Advisor:Vikhozo Vitsu, Treasurer: Vikosieto Krose and Dr Kedozeto Punyii and Er Kezha Theiinuo as advisors.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by AGOK vice president K Neibou Sekhose while the welcome address was delivered by Western Angami Gazetted Officers Krotho (WAGOK) president Beizo Suokhrie delivered welcome address.
AGOK general secretarial secretary Megolhu Dolie and AGOK treasurer Vikhozo Vitsu gave their respective reports.
Dr Hovithal Sothu and friends presented special number. Vote of thanks was proposed by AGOK joint secretary Er Keziekhrii Rhiitso.
