•-The Sociology Paper-I Question setter needs to improve. I was amazed to see that out of 10 units in the syllabus, Unit IV was the favorite of the question setter because if you have mastered that particular Unit IV, you have chance of scoring 58 marks out of 100 marks. In Objective Multiple Choice, 5 Units were totally left out. In short notes, 3 Units were left out whereas favourites were repeated but the most surprising was in the Essay type where 4 questions were asked from Unit IV. Is it to privilege a particular College or done in ignorance? It’s important that questions are set in perfect balance, referring to the syllabus often, and letting it to be a question that raises no further question. It should not play hide and seek just to benefit a particular college. What is becoming of our beloved University and our teachers even?
