Kohima, May 3 (MExN): The Angami Public Organisation (APO) along with Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) extended its warm greetings to Ao Senden on the occasion of Moatsü.
Dr Vilhusa Seleyi, advisor to APO conveyed best wishes for the joyous celebration of Moatsü 2022 on behalf of the 104 Angami villages.
The APO sincerely acknowledged the contributions made by Ao community for pioneering in all fields be it culture, religion, civilization, politics, education, sports or in building Naga unity.
In this gracious celebration, let us all pay tribute to our Ao forefathers for their legacy in shaping the Naga nation based on culture, he stated.
The APO sincerely believed that the present scenario of rampant corruption indulged by the various categories of Nagas is obviously due to the uncultured attitude and lifestyle, lacking the knowledge of “our roots.”
The APO requested Ao Senden to lead the Nagas as a whole with new strategies to strengthening the Naga unity and liberate the common Naga populace from the present self-induced slavery situation so that “we all march forward together with dignity.”
