KOHIMA, MAY 12 (MExN): The Angami Public Organisation (APO) and the Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) has asked the people from Nagaland in other parts of the State to reconsider their plans for returning to the State unless very necessary.
A press release from the APO stated that there may be risk of exposure to the virus during the journey home.
“Out there in the place where you are residing, you could facing various problems and difficulties, but the APO feels that staying home, wherever you are, could be the safest thing for you to do at a time such as this,” it stated.
It meanwhile assured that the organization is ready to facilitate their coming if they really need to return. It further stated that the APO would push the State Government to help those stranded people in need.
The CPO also made the same appeal and said that any lapses in guidelines protocols will lead to social unrest which will have far reaching consequences. It therefore appealed to the stranded students and employees outside Nagaland state to reconsider their return plans to stay back for some period.
