We, the undersigned, apologise to the Directorate of School Education for bringing allegations of corruption under SSA against the department which was subsequently published in the papers on 14th January 2011. It was erroneous on our part to blame the said department for siphoning off Rs 1.09 crores when we should have directed our displeasure with the State Mission Authority (SMA). However, after conferring with the appropriate authorities, the matter has been resolved and even SMA has been absolved of wrong doings as the allegation was based on ambiguous and incomplete departmental circular which we wrongly interpreted
Once again we apologise to the Director of School Education for having wrongly dragged in the name of his department.
