Mon, December 20 (MExN): Mon Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) organised an interaction with village functionaries of Changlangshu Village on December 17.
During the interaction, importance and need to maintain peace and harmony in the region were emphasised so that progress and development of the region can continue and gain pace.
Local residents were also made aware on the present situation, Fit India Movement, Swachhata Abhiyan and the forthcoming meritorious sportspersons recruitment rally which is likely scheduled in April/May 2020.
21 village functionaries participated in the event. The GBs were also asked to motivate all sportspersons to take part in recruitment rallies. All the participants pledged to continue such interactions in future and the villagers assured their unconditional support to security forces in the overall peace and development of the region.
