Nagaland civil service probationers of 2019 batch during the orientation cum training held by Assam Rifles, Tuensang Battalion on December 14.
Tuensang, December 15 (MExN): Tuensang Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) carried out orientation cum training for Nagaland civil service probationers of 2019 batch on December 14 in Tuensang. An introduction to history, org and role of the Assam Rifles and a lecture on Naga Insurgency was conducted in the series of events.
The probationers also visited the unit lines, cook houses, training area, Sports & Shopping Complex, IED training lab and weapon simulator room. Towards the end, the probationers acknowledged the Assam Rifles for organizing the orientation, which gave them the opportunity to know more about the oldest Para-Military Force of India.
