Youths learning to make bamboo plate during the training held at Aruju Tsuki-Bachelor’s Dormitory, Changtongya Village.
Changtongya, January 15 (MExN): Aruju Tsuki-Bachelor’s Dormitory, an NGO located at Changtongya Village, Mokokchung district under the the`me ‘cultural revival’ initiated training on bamboo plate making for the youths.
“The organization welcomes all the interested youths and imparted knowledge on the diminishing culture of our society. At Nüngo Reju traditional items are preserved and maintained in order to embrace the authenticity of the Ao-Naga culture,” stated Sentirenba, Founder & Director Aruju Tsuki-Bachelor's Dormitory.
“Also, the organization sheds light on the present scenario of our environment and were made aware on the menace caused by the used of plastic items. Encouraging the involvement of public in banning plastic use, it also provides with their eco-friendly bamboo plates on rental basis for all occasion,” the founder added.
