DIMAPUR, MAY 31 (MExN): Under the chairmanship of Dr. Nicky kire, the Public Accounts Committee, Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) has decided to undertake “on the spot verification” of the Government Projects on 6th & 7th June 2011, in connection with the Examination of the C & AG Report of India for the year 2007-08. According to a press note from AE Lotha, Secretary NLA, the Committee will visit NHAK under Health & Family Welfare Department and Dzulakie Riverine Project under Fisheries Department on 6th June 2011 at 9 A.M and 12 Noon respectively.
On 7th June 2011, the Committee will further visit the CIHSR (Referral Hospital) under Health & Family Welfare Department at 9 A.M, Heavy Fuel Oil based Thermal Power Plant, Dimapur under Planning & Co-Ordination Department (Power) at 12 noon, verify the Food & Civil Supplies Godown under the Department of Food & Civil Supplies and visit the old DCs Office Complex at Chumukedima at 2 P.M and 3:30 P.M respectively. All the PAC members are requested to be available during the verification period. The Committee also directed all the concerned Departmental representatives to be present at the project site to assist the Committee.
