Dimapur, August 20 (MExN): The Aggrieved Teachers Association of Nagaland (ATAN) has informed of a general meeting scheduled for August 23 at the ISBT in Dimapur from 4:00 PM to discuss issues pertaining to the ‘indefinite agitation in the form of hunger strike in the event of failing to address our demands within the stipulated time.’ A note from the ATAN leadership received here today said the action is a follow-up to the association’s ultimatum submitted to the chief secretary on August 18. All members of the association are informed to contact their respective unit presidents/executives or the association at the numbers 9856468760, 9856264623, 9436003786, 9856866256 for information. The members are also directed to submit Rs.500 per head compulsorily on that day to ATAN “for further proceedings.”
