Longleng, November 30 (MExN): ATMA Longleng, Tamlu block organized a demonstration programme on Cultivation practices of Cauliflower and Onion on November 20 at Ametchong village. Resource person Kittyla, ATM Longleng block discussed the advantages of following scientific method of cultivation practices. She demonstrated the procedures of site selection, seed bed preparation, time of transplanting, spacing and irrigation.
In a separate programme at Bura Namsang village on November 21, a practical demonstration on the cultivation practices of cabbage and the indigenous method of neem leaf extraction for pest management was shown to the farmers by Nokchensaba Kichu, ATM Tamlu block.
