Wokha, October 9 (MExN): Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), Wokha Chukitong block opened a Farm School at Nungying on October 8.
During the programme, Farm School concept was explained to the farmers by Zuthunglo, Agriculture Inspector.
A brief introduction on importance of poultry farming and its management was delivered to the farmers by Dr Limathung, Watershed Development Team (WDT) from Land Resource Department. He also encouraged the farmers to use the locally available materials for making feeding equipment.
Nribeni was selected as the Farm School Teacher with 15 students. Altogether 16 farmers, four ATMA officials, Block Technology Team (BTT) convener attended the programme. Later, water feeder and Feeds were distributed to the farmers.
