Wokha, September 19 (MExN): ATMA Wozhuro block, Wokha conducted within district farmers training, demonstration and moblisation of Shelf Help Group (SHG) at Totsu community Hall, Totsu village on September 16.
Resource person Zujanbemo Khuvung, ATM spoke on the topic ‘package and practices of winter vegetables’ and briefed about pest and disease management. Demonstrations on identification of sword and water suckers in Banana for good planting materials were conducted by Shanchobeni Humtsoe, BTT Convener and importance and role of SHG were highlighted by Benthunglo Murry, BTM.
Later, Jande SHG was formed comprising of 10 members. The event was chaired by Loreni Kithan, ATM. The training concluded with discussion and distribution of vegetables seeds to the farmers. A total of 25 farmers along with ATMA officials attended the training.
