DC notifies vehicular restrictions
Mokokchung, August 30 (MExN): To allow uninterrupted road repair and maintenance of Bailey bridges along the National Highway- 202 (Mokokchung-Tuensang Road), Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner Shashank Pratap Singh has issued an order suspending all vehicular movement along the stretch of road, till further notice.
During the restriction period, vehicles carrying a maximum load capacity of 10 metric tonnes (MT) and heading towards Tuensang from Mokokchung, have been advised to take the diversion from km 158 NH-62 Longmisa Junction-Longmisa-Dikhu-Alisopor-Thronger-Tuensang; and those plying towards Mokokchung from Tuensang have been advised to take the Thronger-Alisopor-Dikhu-Longmisa-Longmisa Junction-Mokokchung route. Meanwhile, the DC’s order reiterated that only vehicles with a maximum load capacity of 10 MT are allowed to ply on the diverted route and called for strict compliance.
