Wokha, October 21 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Orenthung Lotha inaugurated Bailing Machine Unit and commissioned the new JCB at Wokha on October 21.
Addressing the inaugural function, a DIPR report stated that the DC Wokha said, “Our approach towards finding a solution to manage waste should be scientific as it can boost safety use of waste. Segregation of waste is very important and essential as waste generated cause immense problem and urged the citizens to separate waste such as wet and dryso that sanitation workers does not find it difficult to separate waste separately.”
ADC and Administrator, Wokha Town Council (WTC), K Mhathung Tsanglao who chaired the function stated that the Department of Urban Development has provided the machineries with the intention of beautifying the town and do to away with waste menace, where he urged the people to dispose waste properly to make our town free from environmental hazard.
Dedicatory prayer was offered by Rev Abemo Jungio, Pastor Wokha Town Baptist Church while vote of thanks was proposed by HA, WTC.
