DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 27 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner and DLCC Chairman Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, NCS has notified that there shall be a strict ban on the sale of tobacco products during the upcoming Hornbill Festival at Heritage Village, Kisama.
The ban is in exercise of the power conferred by section 21, 24 and 25 of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of advertisement and regulation of the trade and commerce, production, supply and distribution) Act 2003.
Any person violating this order shall be liable to be punished as per the law, a DIPR report stated.
