North East Zone General Manager Shiba Pada Nayak formally inaugurates three news branches — Silapathar Branch, Lakhi Nepali Branch in Jonai, and Dhemaji Branch — in Assam on May 11.
Dhemaji, May 11 (MExN): Bank of Baroda inaugurated three new branches — Silapathar Branch, Lakhi Nepali Branch in Jonai, and Dhemaji Branch — at a ceremony attended by senior bank officials, customers and local residents.
According to an official update, the branches were formally inaugurated by Bank of Baroda North East Zone General Manager Shiba Pada Nayak in the presence of Jorhat Regional Head Vivek Das and other bank officials.
Addressing the gathering, Nayak said the bank remained committed to strengthening customer service, enhancing banking infrastructure and expanding financial inclusion across the region.
He said the upgraded branches would provide customers with a more modern, convenient and customer-friendly banking experience.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed enthusiastic participation from customers and members of the local community. The newly-opened branches are equipped with improved banking facilities and are expected to strengthen the bank’s presence in the region further.
With the inauguration of the three branches, Bank of Baroda’s network in the Jorhat region has expanded to 73 branches, while the bank’s North East Zone now has 213 branches across the northeastern states.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and interaction with customers and guests, reaffirming the bank’s commitment to excellence in banking services and community engagement.
