•-Through this column, we the aggrieved candidates in the recently recruitment in the power department as junior engineer's, would like to know from the Naga Student Federation(NSF) ,of why they are mainly targeting the candidates in the power department when political appointment are going on in every departments. Even the daughter of a senior minister got appointment at Naga hospital Kohima through political/backdoor appointment, whose service is in the process of being getting regularized. So why this discrimination to the contractual engineer candidates in the power department. The Naga Student Federation (NSF) should not apply different criteria between the children of the VIP's and the rest of the candidates when it comes to appointment in the government service. The Naga Student Federation should either fight the backdoor appointment without bias or else should not raise the issue of backdoor appointment at all.

On special recruitment for EAC—Why Sumis of Kipheri left out?
•-As appeared in local dailies “10 post of Extra Assistant Commissioner for lesser representative tribes”, I would liked to seek clarification from the Government of Nagaland on why the Sumis of Kipheri district are left out from this special recruitment drive. Recently the Government of Nagaland through their official notification had acknowledged that the Sumis of Kipheri district are also backward and had included them among the backward tribes in the reservation policy. If some tribes did not have Extra Assistant Commissioner for the last 20 years are included in this special recruitment drive, then the Sumis of Kipheri district should also be included, for they did not had an Extra Assistant Commissioner for the last 40 years. The Government should apply the same yardstick when it comes to special recruitment for the backward tribes. The Sumi student union of Kipheri should urgently take up the matter with the Government.

Beloved Kuki brethren
•-Warm greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What has happened has happened. Those years of conflict between us were the saddest period of our lives. Let them be buried in oblivion.
Now talking about the future - after much thought and prayer, we have come to the conclusion that we can no longer live together in peace with the Meiteis who are always against the tribals and Christians. We can still be good neighbours though.
We would urge you to support our movement for a Christian nation (Nation for Christ), wherein Christians will be free from oppression and discrimination. Sundays will then be no more days of exams or interviews but days of praise and worship and we will not have to learn satanically devised Meitei mayek.
Let me tell you something – in the Nation for Christ, I have a strong confidence that Kukis will have their own state instead of a small district. We covet your earnest prayer support.
