Bharat Petroleum (BP) has extended its popular “door-to-door” bulk diesel delivery service in Dimapur. A ceremonial programme marking the launch of the service was held on August 23 at NES Dimapur NH 39, one of BP’s petrol pumps located at 2½ Mile. Debashis Naik, Head Retail (East), formally launched the service at the inaugural programme.

Through the on call service known as ‘Door to Door Delivery Facility,’ diesel will be brought to the doorstep of bulk diesel customers. Gaurabh Karmakar, Manager (Sales) said that the service is secure and safe complete with a mobile tanker (Fuel Kart) and service personnel, who will deliver diesel on demand to bulk customers in and around Dimapur  from NES Dimapur NH 39, said to be among the highest selling petrol pumps in Nagaland. “It could be businesses, hospitals, construction sites, industrial units. Any (bulk) customer can avail the service,” he added.

He informed that customers can place orders via phone or online. Delivery charges will apply subject to the distance between the point of delivery and the customer’s location.

The service became operational from Tuesday. According to Karmakar, the response to BP’s bulk delivery service has been good with one already in operation at another BP petrol pump located in Medziphema.
