•-Recalling back the selection test for teachers 2003, as entrusted, the office of N.B.S.E with a sole view to bring about quality education in our state particularly at a primary level, took up such a gigantic task of selection of suitable candidates for the most responsible teachers post. The written test was conducted with absolute fairness and declared the result in clear order of merit, which was indeed praise worthy and a welcome step towards achieving the very end.
Both the Fresh and Adhoc candidates had no objection in the written result, however, for unknown reason, the result of the Oral interview was not declared till date .The year 2003, is pretty long time ago. So, I sympathized with those candidates whose hope of getting job then, had died down being over aged now and are doing nothing. But I still believe that something good is going to happen even now, with the decision of inviting the qualified candidates in the proposed crucial oral interview going to be conducted very soon.
For I have a strong faith in justice, I fondly remember a story about a man named Lazarus, who had died and was buried for four days before our Lord Jesus arrived and whose partially decomposed body was brought back to life again in its original form(John 11:17-27). We also cannot deny the saying- “Some people are chosen to be God’s servants from their mother’s wombs and born to be a teacher, live and work like a teacher in their lifetime”. For teachers are no lesser missionaries. In short, let justice prevail in everything and God’s will be done on this earth as it is in Heaven.
