22 samples sent for testing, results of 17 negative

Nagaland’s planning & coordination, land revenue and parliamentary affairs minister Neiba Kronu today stated that as of 3.00 PM today, a total of 3982 people including students who have returned from outside the state from 6th March 2020 onwards have self reported to the respective District Surveillance Teams and are under home quarantine.
Out of which 3590 are presently under home quarantine and 392 have completed quarantine, the Kronu stated while briefing on Covid-19 on March 29 for Nagaland.
740 PPE distributed to all districts
The minister informed that the Department of Health & Family Welfare today has distributed a total of 740 PPE to all the 11 Districts.
200 for Kohima, 100 for Dimapur, 90 each to Mokokchung and Mon, 50 to Wokha, 40 each to Tuensang, Phek and Zunheboto and 30 each to Kiphire, Peren and Longleng.
The rest of the stocks have been kept at the State headquarters.
The Department of Health & Family Welfare has also kept ready 133 number of Ambulances for emergency, pooled in from the Churches, Para Military, NGOs, individuals, Private Hospitals and the Government.
Self Declaration Covid-19 Nagaland App
Nagaland’s Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has launched the Self Declaration Covid-19 Nagaland App yesterday at his residential office.
Kronu informed that that as of 2.30 PM today, a total of 1523 persons have self registered in the app with all the required information duly filled in.
“However, 312 persons have not completed their full details,” he stated and requested them to submit the full details “because in doing so you are contributing your part in our united fight against Covid-19 in our state..
Further, the minister requested those who have entered the State after 6th March, 2020 to self register in the App with their full details.
22 samples sent for testing, results of 17 negative
The minister informed that out of 22 samples that have been sent for testing, results for 17 were negative and the remaining 5 results are awaited.

Essential commodities across Nagaland continues to be normal
The position regarding the availability of the essential commodities and goods across the state continues to be normal.
Every day reports are being received from the districts on the availability of essential goods and commodities in terms of number of days and the situation continues to remain comfortable, the minister informed.
“The availability of PDS foodgrains in the state is also sufficient. As on now we have stocks in the FCI godowns in the state which would be enough for 3 and a half months,” Kronu stated.
State Level Control Room
Kronu informed that a State Level Control Room during COVID-19 Lockdown has also set up, whose numbers are 0370-2291122 and 0370-2291120 for any grievance being faced by anyone concerning the lockdown measures.
The Control Room may also be contacted by any person from Nagaland who is outside the state and is stranded or facing hardships because of the lockdown and require guidance and support.
Meanwhile, the minister appealed everyone to continue strictly adhering to the directions regarding the lockdown and stay at home and not come out, unless absolutely unavoidable for buying food and other essential commodities.
Further, he appealed everyone to maintain social distancing at the shops and outlets.
