Byju’s learning app & TV launched at St. Xavier

Jalukie, June 6 (MExN): Byju’s Learning App and Byju’s Learning TV was launched at St Xavier Higher Secondary School, Jalukie on June 6. 

Byju’s is India’s largest Edtech company and creator of the most loved k-12 app in the country. It aims to help students learn better. With 30 million students learning from BYJU’s today, it has become one of the most preferred education technology platforms across the globe, stated a press note. 

Anirban Dam, Zonal Head of Byju’s NE, appreciated the initiative of the institution for bridging digital gap existing in the area by introducing Byjus Learning TV at St. Xaviers for the first time in North East. He also highlighted the vistas of opportunities offered by Byju’s Learning strategies to widen the horizons of knowledge for the students.

Inaugurating the launching of Byjus learning TV, the chief guest Dr. Capt. G. Dhanan Jaya Rao, MVSc. PhD, the Dean, College of Veterinary Sciences &A.H., Central Agricultural University, Imphal lauded the efforts of the Management to teach the children through digitalization. He exhorted the students to get motivated by the digital learning aids in order to optimize the learning outcome. “It’s a boon, for you and a blessing from God” he added. As the role of the teacher is irreplaceable, he reminded the students not to ignore them.

Rev. Fr. George Antony, Principal, in his introduction stated that we are living through a time of profound change. There is a digital revolution, and this incredible advancement in technology characterizes our time offering fresh challenges in the field of education. He added that today’s students cannot be taught with yesterday’s strategies and there is always a better way of doing things. In this fast paced world, future belongs to those who can dream before it becomes obvious. St. Xaviers believes in change, because ‘innovation and excellence’ is our motto. He highlighted his view that the ultimate power to change is and has always been in the heads, hands and the hearts of the educators who work in the schools.
