Team Metamorphosis, the organizers of Campus Icon will be taking the finalist of Campus Icon season 5 for a tour for live concerts to Old Riphyim and Doyang under Wokha district. The season 5 finalists Randanbeni, Akumrenla, Thungchobeni and Shanchobeni will be accompanied by the previous Campus Icons Mhachen, Bideno, Arhoni and Myanthung.
Thungdemo (Demo) Kyong, Chief of Team Metamorphosis stated that the motive behind these live concerts is basically to raise funds for the present contestants as they’ve reached the final. And also to entertain the communities where the concerts will be held and finally to shoot video footages as this season’s performances will be cutting a video album. This season’s Campus Icon will receive a cash award of Rs. 15,000/- only, the 1st runner up a cash award of Rs. 10,000, and the 2nd runner up a cash award of Rs. 7,000.
Also, if The Campus Icon secure excellent grade in the final examination, he/she will receive an Academic Scholarship for the year 2012. At Old Riphyim, the concert which will be held at the Morarishen Tourist Lodge organized by the Youth Department of Old Riphyim Baptist Church. At Doyang it will be held at the NRC Hall DHEP Doyang and is co-organized by Chumthungo Ngullie.
