CFD appreciates outgoing DC and frontline workers

Dimapur, August 7 (MExN):  The Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) during its executive body meeting on August 5 at Bishop's House Dimapur appreciated the outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anoop Khinchi for his ‘unconditional support and responsibility’ carried out as the district commissioner of Dimapur during the COVID-19 pandemic.

While recollecting the times they worked together with the DC and the administration, the CFD appreciated the DC and all the frontline workers for efficient handling of the challenges and issues faced by the general public.

The CFD also welcomed and assured their support to the new DC of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan. 

The Forum also appreciated and assured their prayers and support to the Commissioner of Police Rothihu Tetseo, the Chief Medical officer (CMO), all the frontline workers, Churches, NGOs, Civil society organizations, volunteer organizations and various individuals involved “in making the life of the people better during this crisis.”

Seminar on Youth unemployment
Meanwhile the CFD also informed that they are planning to organise a one-day seminar and a consultative meet on ‘Churches response to Youth unemployment in Nagaland’ on August 25 at Bethesda Campus, Dimapur.

 It is in view of finding new avenues for the youth who are unemployed and returned to Nagaland due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CFD said in its press release.

In this regard, the Forum has invited all the Pastors and church representatives to join, ‘discuss and plan together to combat the burning issue’. It also invited institutes and organizations working for skill development to cooperate and collaborate in organizing the meet.

The CFD assured that the SOPs will be strictly followed during the meet.
