Dimapur, December 13 (MExN): The Chakhesang Gazetted Officers’ Association (CGOA) today condemned the “immature act of Zhokhoneyi Soho, Caretaker CAO, Chakhesang Region (CR) for intentionally defaming the clean image and questioning the credibility of an esteemed member of the Association by misrepresenting the facts without ascertaining it.”
A press release from CGOA President Kuko Mero, said contrary to what has been alleged, the meeting in Khomi village under Phek district “was an observation of Constitution Day which was a national event held under the aegis of Phek District Legal Services Authority in collaboration with District Administration Phek and Khomi Public Organization at Middle Khomi Village Community Hall.” Expressing “shock” to come across the news in the local dailies, the CGOA regretted that a “sincere Officer working for the welfare of the people has been maliciously targeted for performing her bounden official duties.”
