Phek, January 28 (MExN): The Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) had its first coordination meeting for the year 2022 with Chakhesang frontal organizations- Chakhesang Mothers' Association (CMA), Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF), and Chakhesang Students' Union (CSU) at Phek town on January 27.

The values, visions and missions of the frontal organizations were shared and deliberated at length in the meeting for the welfare of the community in particular and Nagas in general, stated a press release issued by the CPO General Secretary Chepetso Koza. 

The meeting stressed on the importance of unity amongst various NNPGs, removal of illegal taxations in Nagaland, repeal of AFSPA (1958), monitoring educational institutions both in the government and private sectors for productive and effective outcome, revival of cultural identities, significance of farming, the urgent need to revive the two pig farms in Phek district, self-reliance and entrepreneurship amongst others.

Earlier, Vezuhu Keyho, President CPO addressed the gathering and emphasized on the need for mutual understanding and cooperation amongst various frontal bodies. He encouraged the gathering to have a more forward outlook and plan yearly action targets accordingly.

The coordination meeting was chaired by Vecito Dozo, Vice-president, CPO.
