DIMAPUR, JUNE 21 (MExN): The Chief Engineer PWD (NH) Nagaland has requested the general public and the users of NH-155 to be patient and bear with the department. According to a press note from Er Peter Solo, Chief Engineer PWD (NH), the department has already issued work orders to few contractors on this stretch for strengthening and improvement works which will be starting soon. The press note also informed that the Ministry of MORT & H has sanctioned 120 km length on NH-155 and the contractors shall be on the job early for improvement works. The stretches are between Mokokchung and Tuensang, Tuensang and Kiphire and Kiphire and Meluri (Akash Bridge). Therefore the general public who are using NH-155 are requested to extend cooperation to the department and the contractors. “The Ministry of MORT & H New Delhi has been kind to the Nagaland government and the people will surely see a better road in days to come”, stated the Chief Engineer PWD (NH).
