Chiephobozou, January 29 (MExN): The 1st annual general body meeting of Chiephobozou block level cum celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was held at Thizama village council hall on January 27.
A DIPR report stated that speaking on the occasion, ADC Chiephobozou, Vekhoyi Chakhesang encouraged the self-help groups to produce quality products to assess higher demand for better marketability. While highlighting the various schemes, he said NRLM aims to alleviate rural poverty and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for the rural people; NRLM seeks to promote sustainable community based institutions which will facilitate provision of financial services, economic services and other entitlements to the rural people.
The programme was chaired by Neitsonuo Kera, CBLF member Rusoma, important of Covid-19 vaccination and covid-19 appropriate behavior was highlighted by Neikiesanuo Z Peseyie AC, SI/SD Chiephobozou, success story of AGEY was given by Vizobei-ü Theiinuo, Seyiekhrielie Rio BDO cum BMM RD, Chiephobozou also gave a brief introduction of the programme, Arhenuo Pienyü presented a special song, vote of thanks was delivered by vice president CBLF, Neilhousieü Soliezou.
Meluri: Women SHG block level federation Meluri Block, 3rd annual general body meeting cum celebration of Aazadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was held at Village Council Hall, Meluri Village.
EAC Meluri, Yitachu Thurr as the guest speaker dwelt at length on the theme, ‘empowering women, empowering humanity.’
SMO CHC Meluri, Dr Chukhusie emphasised on the importance of Covid-19 vaccination and Covid-19 behavior. Earlier keynote address was delivered by Zapoyi Sapu, Block Program Manager, NSRLM Meluri Block. As per the statistics of the organization, it was recorded that there are 1284 members of SHG under block level federation of Meluri Block.
The programme was chaired by MBK Akhegwo VLO, Lichumla. It was attended by around 150 SHG members, public leaders and heads of offices under Meluri sub-division.
