Chütsolie colony community hall inaugurated

Chümoukedima, July 16 (MExN): A newly constructed community hall of Chütsolie colony, Ward-9 Chümoukedima was inaugurated by CEO, NKVIB K Jimo on July 14.

Addressing the gathering, Jimo said the completion of the building has eased the burden of the colony people and appreciated the leaders of Chütsolie colony for the achievement. Former President of Chütsolie Colony Council, Akron advised the citizens of Chütsolie colony to make good use of community hall facilities and stated that people should place society first before the individual. Expressing happiness over the inaugural of the hall, family members of late Chütsolie encouraged the colony citizens to be united and set example for the people of Chümoukedima Town.

Building Construction Committee Convenor, Lanuteka Longkumer (NCS Retd), giving the construction report stated that the building construction began in 2018. He thanked Phrono Doze, for the free will donating of the plot.

Understanding the importance of social distancing during the pandemic, the inaugural programme was observed with strict compliance to the safety measures as per government guidelines.
