DIMAPUR, JUNE 8 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio along with Minister Health & Family Welfare, S.Pangnyu Phom, Minster PWD Tongpang Ozukum and Advisor Rural Development Dr Neikiesalie Nicky Kire inspected the ongoing developmental work at Medical College site at Phriebagei, Kohima on June 8, 2019.
According to a DIPR report, the CM instructed the medical department to plant more trees in and around the area and to put up retaining walls all around the boundary. He also stressed on the importance of construction of well-planned drainages within the medical college. He instructed the consultants to come up with solution to the problem faced by them at the earliest, as no problem is unsolvable in this high tech world. He urged the consultant and department officials to work overtime and complete work within the stipulated period.
The CM further instructed the department to submit a full status report on the progress, achievement and technical hitches before the Niti Ayog meeting which is to be held soon. The consultant briefed the visiting team about the various problems and technical difficulties faced and highlighted the issue of National Ground Level (NGL), for which they have to redesign the blue print of the building structure.
Principal Secretary & Food Safety Commissioner H&FW, Himato Zhimomi also assured the team that all necessary developmental work would be taken up on time so that the medical college becomes functional at the earliest.
