CM will be re-elected: NDPP Tuensang reposes faith in Rio, Chingwang

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will be re-elected and under his leadership, Nagas will get the peaceful Naga solution, asserted H Wongto, President, Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Tuensang region on August 23. 

Speaking at the felicitation-cum-consultative meeting with five area constituencies in Tuensang on August 23, he also encouraged the public to co-operate and elect NDPP candidates in the next upcoming election.

Congratulating the newly-inducted officials of the region, Wongto also urged the party members to maintain party principles, to actively work united to strengthen the party from the grassroots level under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Rio and NDPP President, Chingwang Konyak. 

Short speeches were delivered by NDPP presidents of five area constituencies; Lakila, Working President of the region’s Women Organization, and Imti Choba, President of region’s Youth Organisation.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Heyito, Secretary, Tuensang region while invocation prayer was pronounced by Throngkeamla, Vice President, Women Organisation.

The welcome address was delivered by Throngrang, Vice President, Tuensang region, and ended with a benediction by Shokhumla, General Secretary, Women Organisation.
