Dimapur, April 9 (MExN): The Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry has expressed its appreciation to all the district chamber of commerce (CNCCI’s confederates) of Nagaland as well as others for various effort during the ongoing lockdown to combat COVIS-19 pandemic.
The confederates are not only working round the clock to ensure that sufficient essential commodities are available in their respective districts but are assisting the government, administration and police by lending logistic support in every possible manner, CNCCI stated in a press release from its Media Affairs.
This is over and above the humanitarian assistance provided to the public across the state, it said, and further appealed its confederates to continuously “keep up their effort and good work for the people.”
The CNCCI also acknowledges the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) for making all out effort to maintain daily supply of essentials not only for Dimapur in particular but also for the rest of the districts in general, the release said.
The chamber also commended the Dimapur administration and police for being able to effectively regulate and maintain lockdown despite being the commercial hub of Nagaland taking care for not only Dimapur but for the rest of Nagaland.
The CNCCI also lauded the Government of Nagaland for setting up a committee under Kikheto Sema to assist the district administration and police.
“With the committee assistance, CNCCI feels Dimapur is more streamlined and systematized especially related to market crowding,” it added.
