The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department today informed that a cyclonic circulation over South Assam has caused the present weather condition and the State may see rains and thundershowers for a week or so. The sky will remain partly cloudy while the day time temperature may rise. The minimum temperature during the night may fall to 2 and 3 degrees. During this period of extreme cold, the NSDMA cautioned picnickers not to stray over frozen lakes and Icy surfaces to prevent untoward accidents.
