Mokokchung, January 29 (MExN): Community Awareness & Sensitation programme under Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009, organised by Nagaland Education Mission Society, Samagra Shiksha was held at Mokokchung at Sangtemla Community Hall on January 29.
A DIPR report stated that Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Limawabang Jamir urged upon the teachers to focus on every child for developing basic language, literacy, numerous skills which will help them to develop into better readers and writers. He appealed to the leaders, teachers and officers to embrace innovation and changes in education and continue working hard to train the young children who will be the leaders of tomorrow.
District Education Officer, Mokokchung, Apong Jamir welcomed all the school heads of institutions, participants and resource persons. Keynote address was delivered by Dr Khatoli, Deputy Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland.
