COVID-19: 211 confirmed cases, but over 66% ‘recovered’

Dimapur, June 21 (MExN): Nagaland has registered 10 more COVID-19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s overall tally to 211. However, a total of 141 patients or 66.82% as were officially designated as recovered of June 21. 


Confirming the detection of new positive cases, Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom tweeted on Sunday morning “Out of 308 samples tested, 10 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported. 7 patients from Kohima QC, 2 from Tuensang QC & 1 from Phek QC.”


On the other hand, 3 patients tested negative during their second test, taking the total number of recovered cases to 141 on Sunday. The total number of active cases now stands at 70. 


As per official updates, all the positive persons are asymptomatic and receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals.
