CPO general session held in Phek town

The Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) today held its 38th general session at Christian Mission Higher Secondary School, Phek town.
A book entitled “Education breakthrough 75th years 1945-2020” written by Rev Dr VK Nuh was released by MLA Dr Chotisuh Sazo during the occasion.
Earlier, speaking at the session, Rev Dr Nuh stressed on the importance and value of sincerity and honesty that prevail amongst the past leaders.
He also stressed on conservation and maintenance of natural resources as it will provide and promote ecological balance and also can be a treasure for posterity.
The session was chaired by CPO vice president Vehiishu Medeo while welcome address was delivered by Phek Area Public Organization (PAPO) president Vezhehii Vero.
CPO general secretary Veduvo Rhakho read out the activities of the CPO for the current year. The session was followed by executive council meeting.
Meanwhile, the 6th Chakhesang Day will take place on January 10 at 10:00 am. Nagaland’s planning & coordination, land revenue and parliamentary affairs minister Neiba Kronu and MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu will address the gathering.
Greetings will be shared by Rev Khrotso Mero, executive secretary Chakhesang Baptist Church Council.
The programme will be chaired by CPO vice president Siineyi V Vadeo while CPO president Mikha Kenye will deliver the presidential address.
