Dimapur, May 24 (MExN): In a short programme held at the office of the Chümoukedima Town Council on May 24, a new water tanker was flagged off by the Pastor, Chümoukedima Town Baptist Church after a dedicatory prayer.
According to a press release received on Monday, besides, the first and foremost purpose of controlling dust/ air pollution, the CTC will be using the water tanker to provide free clean drinking water to all the wards under Chümoukedima Town on specified days during the lockdown period so as to alleviate the problems of the general public caused by the increasing water scarcity problem in the town.
Meanwhile, the CTC Administrator thanked the Nagaland Pollution Control Board for funding the tanker under the National Clean Air Program 2020-21.
