The Dimapur Night Carnival Season 7 2019 which began on December 11 concluded on Sunday with NDPP General Secretary and Advisor DCCI, Basu Damani as the special guest.
Damani in his address lauded the organizers for creating a platform for the artistes and entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and skills. He recalled how the night carnival initially started at Nyamo Lotha Road but taking into consideration the traffic snarls, the venue was shifted to the present location.
Stating that Dimapur was the ‘heart’ of Nagaland, Basu was hopeful that the citizens of Dimapur would live upto the expectations of the name.
He appealed all citizens to enjoy the festive season responsibly. More than 200 stalls were set up during the DNC Season 7.
