Kohima, October 19 (MExN): Dance Fiesta Team, a group of young dance enthusiasts based in Kohima took the responsibility of cleaning the city on October 18. The clean up held at PR Hill junction was supported by Kohima Municipal Council.
“The drive was first of its kind in Nagaland. It was conducted in order to create awareness about the importance of keeping our city clean since Kohima has passed the second phase of Smart City project,” said Lamgrace, Manager of Dance Fiesta!
“We believe that as a dance community, we play a very important role in pushing our city towards a smarter and a better city. We want to be an inspiration to everyone, especially the dancers of other districts and states by giving them a message that our community can be small, yet we can impact the world and be the change,” the dance manager added.
A total of 25 dancers from the city participated in the drive. The team will be doing more social activities in days to come.
