Dimapur, March 22 (MExN): The Dimapur District administrationhas taken exception to reports that “some shops are hiking prices of essential commodities taking advantage of the present situation” and issued caution to shopkeepers. As such, Dimapur Deputy Commissioner Anoop Khinchi on Sunday cautioned shopkeepers that stern action will be initiated as per the Essential Commodities Act, against those shopkeepers who charge exorbitant rates and indulge in hoarding of the essential commodities.
