GBs Union Dimapur (Sadar) to ensure vendors and shoppers follow guidelines
Dimapur, July 21 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi IAS paid a surprise visit at Super Market to oversee whether the vegetable vendors and the public were following the mandatory guidelines for containing COVID 19 pandemic.
While encouraging the vegetable vendors for maintaining social distance between them, to wear masks and to maintain hand hygiene, the DC also cautioned that “he would have no option but to close down the market, if the vendors and shoppers do not cooperate as it pertains to public health and safety.”
Meanwhile, during the visit on July 21, the GBs Union Dimapur (Sadar) assured that they would personally monitor for ensuring that all laid down guidelines were followed by the vendors and shoppers. The GBs Union Dimapur was seen putting the markings at the Super Market on Tuesday evening to ensure that vendors maintain distance between them.
