Kohima, November 12 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS has notified that several car servicing centers and stone quarries are operating in a haphazard manner and unscientific disposal of water waste and materials from these servicing centers and stone quarries are causing deterioration of the Highway and obstruction of traffic flow. Therefore, in the interest of the public safety all car servicing centers and stone quarries along the Highway are directed to ensure proper drainage and disposal of water and material waste. Further, proper material covering/ shield should be erected to cover these servicing centers and quarries and to promote clean environment and beautification.
