Kohima, March 24 (MExN): In order to take all required precautionary steps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 outbreak in the district, the Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS has issued the following restrictions as follows:
• All the public directed to stay at home and not move out except for purchase of essential commodities and medical exigencies. Only one person should come out for purchase and should strictly be done from their respective colonies
• All vehicular movement of non-essential nature is prohibited. No private vehicle should carry passengers
• All shops and business establishments shall remain closed except pharmacies, petrol pumps, groceries shops selling food items, vegetables, daily use items, LPGs and bakeries
• No food items to be sold on the streets, no hawkers to be allowed in the colonies and not to resort to panic buying since sufficient food stuffs are available.
The directives come into effect till further order.
