Kohima, March 18 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Kohima Gregory Thejawelie, NCS has issued advisories in the interest of the public health to prevent and control the outbreak of COVID-19.
Public are advised to maintain personal cleanliness and hygiene at home and in all public places; Public are advised to avoid mass gathering and functions and non-essential official gathering such as seminars, workshops, conference etc may be deferred; Public are to avoid panic buying of essential commodities as there is no shortage.

Weekly bazaars & evening markets banned
The Deputy Commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie NCS has issued an order banning all weekly bazaars and evening markets at various locations within Kohima district with immediate effect from March 18, which will remain till further orders.
