DC Kohima issues travel advisory

Kohima, May 18 (MExN): Kohima Deputy Commissioner Gregory Thejawelie on Wednesday informed certain restrictions on vehicular movement along the National Highway 29 between Kohima and Dimapur will be imposed from May 20 to 27. According to an advisory issued through the state DIPR, all forms of vehicular movement will remain suspended along the Chainage KM 155 (Steel Bridge Area) of Kohima-Dimapur 4-Lane Road and the stretch from Sechu Zubza Police Station to Peducha Check Post (Green Hills restaurant) from midnight to 2:00 am, with effect from May 20 to 27. The advisory has been issued in order to clear the obstructing soil and rock debris resulting from mudslide/ landslide and affecting the traffic movement along NH-29 at Peducha/Zubza, it added.
