DC Wokha inaugurates ALS study centre

Wokha, October 29 (MExN): Alternative Learning System (ALS) study centre was formally inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha on October 29.
Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Nagaland and President, LOA, Mhabemo Yanthan in his keynote address said this mission was possible only because of the collective effort of Lotha Officer’s Association (LOA) and team of officials from Wokha.
As per DIPR report, Yanthan expressed confidence that the centre will go a long way in nurturing and motivating the students to compete in this fast changing world and urged all sections to extend support in order to take the centre forward.
Encouraging the students to take advantage of the facility, he urged the students who are about to start their maiden coaching to be committed, sincere and devoted in their venture and give something back to the society.
Deputy Commissioner, Wokha while speaking during the inaugural function held at Orchid Complex said the institute has come into reality because of the effort and support put in by the LOA and thanked all officers involved for the contribution.
Now that the centre was established at the doorstep, he urged the students to avail the opportunity and appealed to all sections of society/community to extend support for the success of the institute. He also highlighted the concept and feature of the centre to the first batch students.
The inaugural function was chaired by Dr Longshibemo Yanthan while vote of thanks was proposed by SDO (C), Wokha Chonpenthung Ezung.
