Wokha, November 22 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Dr Manazir Jeelani Samoon, IAS in continuation to notification, has informed all concerned seventeen affected villages under LOU/DHEP Doyang that the list of selected/nominated Executive Members provided by the concern villages are furnished. As per Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench judgment has ordered the selected/nominated Executive members to constitute the Election Commission as required under Article- XVI of the LOU constitution within a period of three days from the date of issue of this notification, a notification from the DIPR stated. Upon the Election Commission being constituted the commission shall initiate the process of election of the President and ensure that the election process and the appointment of the president are completed within a period of 15 days.
