DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 21 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, Shanavas C has banned random sale of petroleum products without valid permit with immediate effect. According to a DPIR report, the DC stated that sale of petroleum products like petrol, diesel, S.K Oil and LPG gas without permit is not only illegal but also possess a serious risk to public safety. The DC also cautioned that surprise checking will be initiated from September 14, 2018 and any willful defaulters will be penalised as per the appropriate provisions of the law.
