DC Zunheboto notifies on birth and death records

Office of the Deputy Commissioner in Zunheboto.

Zunheboto, November 27 (MExN): The office of the Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto has announced that the verification and registration of delayed birth and death records (beyond one year) will now be processed by the concerned Executive Magistrates, as per the order issued in Notification No. DEV-39(Vol-1)/2025/980, dated November 21, 2025. It informed that the prescribed format for registration can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Commissioner as well as from the respective Administrative Subdivisions. Additionally, the office has clarified that an affidavit from a Notary Public or First Class Magistrate is no longer required for the registration of birth and death records.
